Review:
I haven't read Songs of the Earth, the first book in this series. If you've read it, what did you think?
  • Firebrand by Gillian Philip (Thanks to Tor)
I'm really excited to start this! The summary sounds really good and I haven't read a good fantasy series in a while.
  • Icons by Margaret Stohl (Thanks to Hachette Book Group Canada)
Although I didn't enjoy Stohl's Beautiful Creatures, I love the sound of this new series!
I believe this is the third and last book in the Steampunk Chronicles. I enjoyed the first book, The Girl in the Steel Corset, but I still need to read my copy of The Girl in the Clockwork Collar.

  2. I really want Icons. I saw it on NG but it was UK readers only :/ Maybe, I'll try anyway, because I've been approved from them before. I have the first book in the Steampunk Chronicles, and like you haven't had a chance to start it! Happy Reading!

  7. Icons sounds so good. You are so lucky to get your hands on a ARC. I hope you love it. The other two new books are new to me. Kady Cross always has pretty covers on her books. Come visit me too.
